House of Commons Library – Railways. Includes many standard briefing notes giving a good introduction to the railways themselves, HS2, Rolling Stock, Franchising Policy, ERTMS, Subsidy, Fares, EU policy, Electrification, etc. A great starting point to find out about a new area or introduce someone new to the industry.
